So, I was asked by Sandy, 'How do you curl your hair with a straightener?'
well Sandy, here it is!
step 1: Firstly, USE PROTECTION! Heat protection this is, this step is VERY necessary! This creates a protective barrier between the hair and the iron so that the hair doesn't 'frizzle' and burn.
Step 2: Brush your hair! Start by brushing your hair from the root to the end. Then, estimate about an inch away from your hairline on your neck and above, and then clip it up.
Step 3: Grab your straightener and start at the roots of your hair, straighten and then flick clockwise, keep on twisting and then take the hair straightener out of your hair, see how you like the curl, and if you think that it is not curly enough, keep on turning the hair straightener until you get the effect you would like. It's quite simple actually, as you continue to try.
Step 4: After you have gotten the effect with the bottom layer of your hair, pull down the clipped up section from the top and repeat step 3.
If you don't quite get the hang of it first time, don't worry, everything takes practice! And if by the 500th time you still haven't got it, look up this YouTube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0iB4Sp3zdqE B
